I need to get a few loads of gravel dumped and spread for my in-laws house in Escambia county - near the Equine center.

    Any recommendations?

I used gulf states enterprises a few months back to raise the grade of a yard and spread crushed asphalt. They gave me a decent price and got it done quick

I'd love some crushed asphalt myself. It looks good but does it stay put?

Crushed concrete is a decent option as well.
Do not ever use concrete wash. It's extremely cheap but the grey mud never ends and it gets all over your tires and wheelwells

i use crushed concrete on my long private road. i think it is great. the stuff i get doesnt make a mud. once you fill in a pothole it is gone. i get it at WPR near the dump in bagdad. https://www.wprincfl.com/

not sure if there is anywhere else in the area to get it.

The crushed is from actual cured concrete that's been pounded to pieces. The concrete wash is the stuff at the plant that gets cleaned out of the trucks. My old boss did a parking lot with it one time and it ended up being a disaster.
