This means that the travel must be continuous, and no stops can occur on your way to the destination for one of the activities above.

Can you post the FSS section or subsection that states this? Or is this just your interpretation ?

I believe that was a shortened lawyer interpretation. Not my own, some thing found in a quick search.

Above is a link to the FSS, below is a screenshot.

EDIT-I am not a lawyer, I’d confirm proper practice with a lawyer to lawfully exercise your rights.

Actually, you can have problems when they grant you permission... even for free... to carry concealed-only (or open-only, for that matter), since that implies you don't have the right to bear arms. The Second Amendment says nothing about a requirement to conceal, which is a more recent concept.

And I wonder if there are jurisdictions that still allow open carry only without a permit, since that used to be more common? Colorado, at least, still seems to allow open carry without a permit, but requires one for concealed carry.

"In some states, you may only be able to openly carry a handgun."

Duh, if it's concealed - nobody knows its there....

    Live free.
Uh-huh... and when they dictate that you can have freedom of speech as long as no one can hear you talk, will you "live free" by speaking so softly that no one can hear?

I'm not the type of person to claim that what some politician allows me to have is all that I want : )

Any good cop would assume the citizen is armed until proven different. For me I prefer concealed. I don’t want anyone to know I carry nor what I carry or how and where, all that should come as surprise when needed.
Unfortunately, we've probably not heard the last about assumptions that every citizen could possibly be armed with a concealed weapon(s.) I suspect there's already discussion/effort focused on dealing with that in the name of "safety," plus ways to spin/use that to further an agenda. The outcome could range anywhere from an armed society is a polite society, to shoot first, shoot often, verify later. Dunno, guys.....

And I think to/from "target practice". Oh, believe me, I've considered getting a fishing license and putting a collapsible rod in my car : )

BUT, as I said above, this leaves it open to a cop's interpretation as to whether we're carrying the "right way" or going to or from the "right place"... NOT good.

    True.

However, the “permission” becomes an issue if you need to use the gun. You may be wholly justified to use it, but if you were “committing a crime” first by being “armed without permission”, then your ensuing legal battles just got exponentially more difficult.

Sucks that law abiding folks would have to resort to “breaking a law” to exercise their Rights.

    Just like the saying goes:
“When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.”

    Chicken and the egg...

This may have been covered in the last 1000 posts, but I don't have time to look. I am still deciding on what gender I will identify as for today, my hair color, what piercings I want in my face, etc...

Looks like FL gets constitutional carry July 1, 2023.
What I am saying is you are allowed your GOD GIVEN RIGHT....... for now.

NOPE. They are granting permission to carry concealed-only... no acknowledgement of our right at all : )

Rights…. They are privileges and can be by law taken away. The sooner you understand this, the better.

The 2A doesn’t give you the right to do what ever you want with arms. It gives them the right to regulate the militia and arms. It only protects you when done with in their laws.

Try possessing some big boy weapons, missiles, artillery and nukes.

You will find out how it really works.

    NOPE.

Rights and privileges are not the same. You cannot amend the Constitution by mere "laws". And the 2A enshrines the right to keep and bear arms, as long as you are one of the people. It does not grant a privilege, and does not say that the right of the people will be regulated (and where regulated does appear in the text it doesn't mean restricted), only that it shall not be infringed. You are correct in that it doesn't enshrine the "right" to shoot up a crowded theater, for example, only the right to keep and bear.

3 hours later I decided to go double reverse trans. Basically a man that wants to be a woman, but that woman is crazier than most, so she wants to be a man.
