The match is getting started earlier this month in order for us to get off the range before we cook. Check in from 6:30-7:30 with first rounds down range at 8:00. Take a moment and check out the Steel Challenge divisions to determine which division your equipment places you in. See you tomorrow

Great Steel Challenge yesterday at ERGC. Finished by 10:30am before the big heat. The match runs on time and like a precision watch.

Everything at the ERGC steel challenge match was top flight. Ample shade, fans at each covered shooting box, cold water available for contestants, quick and timely movement of shooters at each stage set, and professional and friendly staff/ROs.
This was my first time at ERGC, I'll be back. If you haven't been to this match, you should.

I’d like to give this a go.

Is there a class to shoot for a rimfire with iron sights?

Its a Ruger Mark 1 Standard Automatic.
    Got lots of magazines.
    A hunting type holster.

Probably a visit to observe a match would be in order to see how its done.

Yes, rimfire rifle with iron sights is a category. It's called RFRI. Come out to our next match in September. Go on Practiscore and see all the shoots in the area.
