Just a reminder that the DZIDPA Match next month March 7th will be the International Postal Match. This is a 4 stage match that is being held at IDPA Clubs around the world over the course of a few months. This is an opportunity to test your skills against shooters from around the world where awards will be given when the match closes at the end of April. All clubs shoot the exact same 4 stages. This is an opportunity to shoot an IDPA sanctioned match locally for $20!!

A question was asked by PM if multiple gun sign up was aloud and yes you may sign up for multiple divisions in the postal match.

It looks like participation is slim, is that because there will be a bunch of nationals guys there?

Sign up is slim but I think shooters are misunderstanding the match. This is not a true "sanctioned" match. This will be a match like any other local match. There will not be "super high level" guys there shooting. It's just a chance to have your scores compared to shooters in your division and class nationwide. The stages are basic and not complicated.

Squadding is now open. I had it closed because on a match like this, with multiple people shooting multiple divisions, WE needed the flexibility to build the squads as we saw fit. So go ahead and squad up but your final squad WILL NOT be guaranteed and might change.

My vote: Put all the multiples on one squad all together!

That sounds like it would be a good idea but it’s not. You end up with not enough people pasting because they’re going over to the safety table to switch belts, holsters, guns etc and are loading mags for two different guns. I 100 percent encourage people to shoot more than one gun But it’s a balancing act on the match directors part.
