Thinking about doing an open enrollment Carbine Fundamentals class at Escambia River Gun Club in Cantonment on Saturday, August 1st, from 0800 until 1800hrs. 6 spots available, $100 per student. Anyone interested?

I took this class from Charles a few months ago - it was awesome. I learned a bunch of stuff. Changed my equipment setup in several ways based on this class. Learned a lot about my strengths and weaknesses.

Due to current ammo situation, I won’t be doing any open enrollment classes until prices and availability stabilize. I’m still doing 1 on 1 private lessons

What kind of equipment is needed for what you teach.
Permissible guns?
Sling? Type?
Mags, capacity, numbers of mags, pouches?
How much ammo, and any caliber-chamber issues. I guess russian made ammo is now ok.

Are braced short pistol ARs acceptable?

I have a full course description and equipment list, but it’s on my laptop. You may find it in older announcements, but in short:

I teach based on the AR-15 platform.
A sling is required, and I recommend 2-points.
Absolute minimum of 2 mags, but the more the better. 30rd is standard, but you could run 20s or 40s or whatever.
Some way to stage a reload, belt pouch is best but a pocket can work.
500rds of ammo. I’d recommend 223/556, but if you bring another caliber then bring your own dummy rounds too.
Braces pistols are ok.

Forum suggestion:
For people that are approved by the forum that teach classes or operate businesses perhaps a subforum for them that in the case trainer might carry a description classes, services, or businesses.
Might also have links to webpage or other links.

Some other groups do carry a vendors forum.
