If your talking about the 1100, No I did not. It was ceracoted by a past past forum member before he went rouge. He did good work sometimes. I asked for the nam style tiger stripe pattern , this was his interpretation. Not quite what I had in mind but its not too bad.

Not camo, but more of a snakeskin pattern. Ruger precision in 7mm-08 AI

27" barrel from Patriot Valley Arms. Shoots bug holes at 100. Had her out to 1086 yard this past weekend. I'm shooting 162gr eld M and berger 168gr bullets. About 2800 at the muzzle.

It was born as a 6creed. Burnt that barrel out in 1800rds roughly until it wouldn't hold MOA anymore. I'm just over the 6/6.5 faze. They have recently made a lot of high BC 7mm bullets so I figured I would give it a go. A lot longer barrel life. Not much recoil, which is made a lot less with my supressor. Too bad there isn't really any "match" ammo out there for this caliber. Luckily I make my own.

After wanting to spray something for several years I decided to try. I am going to use the sponge method. If I don’t like it, I have read in many for sale ads that it is easy to remove. Not sure why the seller does not do it? Anyways just started tonight. Sprayed with brake cleaner then shot the Rustoleum Camo. Hopefully I can find some natural sponge during lock down.

Did some more painting today. Luckily Micheals is an essential business so I could get some natural sponge. I tried some expanded metal that I had but did not like it. Next time I will just go straight to the sponge. Still may add a few dabs of black later tonight.

    Wow, looks great.
Thanks. I tried a little black but it is going to change it too much for my liking. I saw the sponge method on another forum and liked how it looks very similar to some of the “digital” Camo that some of our military now wear. I am sure my terminology is wrong. I have read several times that you should use very light coats over several days to do this but I don’t have patience for that so I may have a sticky/ stinky gun for a while.

I am VERY happy with the pattern. Exactly what I was aiming for and just as easy as others have said. There will be more camo in my future. I don’t need it but just like the way it looks.

For anyone interested I only used 2 colors of Rustoleum camo. Khaki and Deep Forest Green, about $4.50 a can at the Depot. Lowe’s had a big chunk of sponge for $12 but I am too cheap for that. Micheal’s had a little bag of 5 chunks for $5. I only used one chunk. I did not worry about cleaning the sponge between colors, just let it “dry” then go to the next color.

One last photo until the next victim. Pictured is my Shockwave and the first gun I ever got. Mossberg 835 ulti-mag I got for Christmas in the early 90’s when I was in middle school. Shockwave still a little tacky. Stored on the attic to cure.:)
