You need the knob, the carrier drilled and tapped, and the upper with the slot for the knob.
The "common" demensions for the knobs are: .162"X28pitch. --- SAWMAN

Yeah, it does. Fixed handle. I think these are the roller types. When the factory one is tight it dosent roll. Also a good indicator it needs to be tightened. Do not overtighten.
Tighten with wrench or fingers? I've got big hands. Have a good squeeze. Lol.

I personally have never seen a roller type knob on a AR. I do know that some guns are offered with them though. I do have one for my Wilson High Point 1095. Works great on that gun.
The charge on my AR's do not need a roller type because of the super slick BCG combined with the JP Silent Captured Recoil Spring system. Smooth, easy, and quiet already. ---- SAWMAN

I'd assume you just ordered? That showed up pretty quick.

Any chance you've gotten to try out that x39 upper?
Nope. Have 3 rifles to sight in, just have to escape the house and go shoot. Did a function test, everything did good. Fed, ejected and pick Mark's on primers. Looks gtg. Normally the two biggest issues are mags and gas. Sometimes the firing pin can be trouble due to the hard primers.

Oh I will. Dont anticipate any problems, but you never know. Wish I had some of the hornady x39 ammo. I have a pile of different ammo. Tiger, chicom, wolf, tula, brown bear, wpa. Sp,hp,fmj. Should test several and see what it likes. Hopefully the cheap stuff!

What type or mags do you have? I have only tried the duramag and it worked without a hitch
I have dura mags but have never used them. Used pro mag and asc. Both worked. I'll shoot using the dura mags and see. According to the internet they are great. Cool thing is if I want a shorter mag the old 20s work used them on my pistol x39. Only 8 rds +/-
