Was at my local barber shop when a County Dept Sheriff came in and I struck up the conversation about gun confiscation and registration of all firearms and I asked this deputy what his position was on the matter. He told me he would not be coming to take anyone’s guns should Biden pass a law to do so and he would not voluntarily register his personal guns either. So I’m wondering are their any guys on this forum that wear a badge that is on our side and will not come to take our guns if the Dems pass a law.

I’ve been told same by deputies in Santa Rosa. However, when push comes to shove, will our governor or sheriff arrest or escort out of the state federal agents attempting to do the same?

    big jon,
If there are any law enforcement officers on this forum they’ll comment on the matter anonymously, I’m just curious if they’ll stand with us or do as instructed by Uncle Joe. If Biden swears the UPS drivers in then we’re screwed, cause the UPS drivers find everybody, lol...

I really don't expect many LEO's in the South to confiscate anything. Around Atlanta and other liberal Southern cities but Atlanta ain't been worth a shit since Sherman burned it anyway. There's some bungholes out there but Hell we were all raised with folks that became police of some type. They're one of us and unless you're a crook of some type they ain't going to come calling. I suspect they'll be amongst the first line of defense for us if some BS goes down.

The Office of Sheriff is a constitutional position and has a lot of power. The Sheriff answers to the people of his county and no one else. I believe most sheriffs in our area will not be taking anyone’s guns. It is a topic that comes up regularly and I have yet to hear anyone say they will. Plus a sheriff can deputize anyone on the spot and grow his team within hours.
That’s why it’s called a sheriffs office and not a sheriffs department. A department falls under other entities, an office stands as it’s on entity.

Of course the truth of the matter is that confiscation would be the last step after freezing accounts, pressuring employers to not employ these known evil doers, withholding funds from states and counties who don’t play along, and just about every other dirty trick you can think of to get as many as possible to give up from the misery.

Yep... hence the governments war on cash. As much of a hazard it is keeping cash on hand, it's a good idea if you're ever locked out of an account for whatever reason. It could be a power outage, your estranged wife, a rogue political party or it could be that high altitude f-ing Chinese EMP that just wiped out the entire east coast grid for the next 5 years, and you wont know which one until it's too late to get your money out of someone else's machine. The dictator put it best: "whoever possesses... the income on which you live, possesses your freedom." We're all slaves to the banks (the government included, thanks to the private bank called the Fed Reserve) as long as they possess our money, but fortunately it is relatively easy to take that back without violence, for now. God said "owe nobody anything" and He meant it, across the board, and that includes somebody holding on to your money (you and your family' life and freedom sustaining finances) for you.

I know a lot of National Guardsmen that have told me that they would not comply with orders to confiscate our firearms if they were activated. Just always something that I think about in these crazy times.

It would be a bad time to be a cop or military. Your civilian and military/dept higher ups will have to pick a side. That will filter down to the lower ranked military and patrol cops. At this point they will have to choose sides also.
THIS - -> with either/or no pay and/or prison time hanging in the ballence. These lower ranking military members and lower patrol cops have bills to pay and families to feed also.
If these enforcers live local, and pick the wrong side, the locals will weed them out and retaliate.
Hopefully it will not come down to this. If it does - - -> TOUGH DECISSION AHEAD !! --- SAWMAN

That movie "Amerigeddon" is about this. One of the lead characters is Army Reserve or Guard or something like that and doesn't comply. Its a good movie

I am a retired LEO from the East Coast of Central FL and can tell you that 99.9% of municipal, county, and state LEO's in FL & AL are not going to comply with any federal order that violates the constitution. I have personally met and talked with the AL Attorney General about this and he feels the same way and is very supportive of the 2 nd Ammendment. Many people don't realize how important their State Attorney General is! He (or She) is the one that all state, county, and municipal LEO's are accountable to legally. The State Attorney General is the one that will call the shots on issues like that! FL & AL are in good shape, I can't speak for other states.
