Found this video (9-hole also does a bunch of other good vidoes) about the 100 Series AK. Wealth of good, factual info in here. The part that I've personally found 100% true is the muzzle brake. You'd be amazed at the difference. I learned this on a sporter to converted saiga with the 103 style muzzle brake. These really are the best brakes for recoil on the market imo.

They're really nice. I'm glad a got my hands on an SGL before it is too late. I was able to get my hands on a 103 military 5.5 folder stock and assembly, grip, Russian 103 muzzle brake and reinforced plate that I'll ship off eventually to get installed.

For me I think the sam7sf is as good as it gets. It has a really nice balance to it and it just feels like it is shooting on ball bearings. Not to mention the receiver will never get the trunnion cracks that stamped will get on a reallyyyy long timeline.
