Aero AR10-308 (Niceville, FL)

I have an aero ar10 in 308 for sale, it's a factory built upper and lower with a few upgrades. The stock and grip were upgraded to magpul products, trigger is an alg enhanced trigger, it has an ambi charging handle, strike industries dust cover and a muzzle brake with a cover that's removable. The gun has around 50 rounds through it, barrel is 16 inches and stainless steel. $800 just the gun or $950 with the bypod, 1-6x24 primary arms scope and aero mount.

is this a Aero Precision AR10? I guess my question is this a home build?

It was factory built, upper and lower the upgrades were added by me.

Factory aero? They use Ballistic advantage barrels. SS BA barrels are a matte finish and they mark them behind the gas port on top of the barrel.

I've not seen everything, but they doesn't look like a BA barrel.

It was supposed to be ordered from areo, I got it a while back from a shop in Crestview that was closed a few years ago. The upper was supposedly from aero. All i know is what i was told and its accurate.

A quick call to Aero with the lower serial number will answer the question and help the seller avoid any possible ethics issues.

With that said, I've never seen a non-bead-blasted SS barrel from Aero/BA... but I could very well be wrong.

Either way, if it shoots well the asking price is certainly reasonable.

Upper and lower are stamped aero, upper was supposedly ordered separate from the lower, due to different distributors they told me. I don't build uppers have several lowers so I really couldn't answer 100%.

I think due to the controversy and now me not even knowing what I have I'm going to pull it from sale. All i know is it shoots, is accurate and my kids have killed several deer with it. And I thought it was fairly priced with what a 308 ar goes for.

I thought it was, I guess the shop misrepresented it. I don't mess with building uppers don't have the tools for it. Lowers are nothing to put together.

No it's a standard low profile gas block.

Best could tell the markings matched bca. After checking more into it.
