AAA Gun & Pawn Deland, FL. PHOTO HEAVY post!

Someone mentioned this place in a post around a year or so ago, and I promised myself that I'd stop in if I ever got over to that area...yesterday was the day. Holy Moly, I've never seen so many guns in one place before! Besides the guns, it's just a a cool place to browse. Prices didn't seem like bargains, but I didn't offer on anything (I promised myself not to buy) so can't comment on how negotiable they might be. Pics were taken with the permission of the owner, Richard (very nice fellow, who declined to be photographed himself, although I enjoyed a lengthy conversation with him). Here are some random shots...I failed to photograph several of the cases with older handguns, including the 1911s, P38s & Lugers, darn it. Anyway, here goes...

I used to live and work in that area. Bought several guns from Richard when I lived there. Always got a fair deal! Has a lot of nice guitars as well!

Would think this is same place but maybe not. They have a lot of interesting guns but most all at collector prices or more. They used to mention 7k guns in stock but now it’s 8k. It’s easy to see why they have so many when it’s obvious they’re trying to make 1000 profit on this one rifle. Somebody is going to inherit a shipload of guns

Dang 5 1/2 hrs from me.
I thought all LGS were like this in Florida.
That is why I moved here

In shops like this your attitude can affect the price greatly. Most of the proprietors of these shops aren’t motivated by customers that make lowball offers.

Another good gun shop in Central FL is Peterson's Gun Shop in Mt. Dora, FL. It's about 30 minutes West of AAA Gun & Pawn. A lot of cool stuff at Peterson's and great very helpful employees!
