I need to sell my BAR. need motor money for my truck. When I got it it had the camo dura-touch finish on the stock. But, as with most of the first dura-touch, it was sticky. I stripped the stocks and put a textured spray paint on it (primer first). The paint has held up through two seasons of hunting. I also made a red oak buttplate for it. I wanted to shorten the length of pull and get away from the rubber one catching on my jacket. The rifle pulls up fast now and doesn't catch. I think I still have the original rubber one. I'll look in my shop. It has a 3.5X10X50 Leupold Vari-X III. It shoots Federal blue box an inch or smaller. Never tried any high dollar stuff. Thanks for looking.
