This is about as close as I got to gun today. One side note, if you want to "bedazzle" your optic. Swarovski has 'em at Michaels craft store.

I'm not sure if you saw, but I posted this a few weeks ago. I used sketchup to model what I think I want the new room to look like.

No, I didn't see it. I like the Sketchup...might try it.

I'm thinking I'll use slatwall between the countertop and upper cabinets, to easily store tools and regularly used items.

the aluminum inserts almost double if not more the load bearing capabilities. I think you may be able to order the inserts if what you find doesn't have it.

My building is 20'X28' and i think I am going to be able to dedicate just about 20'X10-12" for reloading and misc.

Made up 50pc of mixed 38 spl brass for backyard wax bullet practice with my 357 blackhawk. Opened up the primer holes and the primer pockets using my lathe. Pockets will now accept new and drop used primers without a press. 1/2 length gulf wax bullets loaded with small pistol primer only (no powder) travels at 550 fps. Target, 6 round group fast draw, was at 25 feet.

Added some "flair" from Larue Tac the other day. I like the Red White Blue touch.

I got my Limited gun back from the gunsmith last week and took a break from moving to start shaping the thumb shield. It wasn't easy, considering I don't have work bench setup at the new house and most of my tools were still in boxes.

I've still got some work to do on it, but it's good enough to shoot a match this weekend.

I forgot that I also moved my 1050 over the weekend, which was not fun in the slightest.

    yfXGyPB.jpg

Then last night I moved what was already in my gun room to the center, so I can prime and paint it over the next few days and get most of my boxes out of the middle of the basement.

The room is in the corner of the basement. I reset this thermometer/hygrometer and put it in the room a few days ago. Looks like it should stay nice and cool and relatively dry. I may end up with a dehumidifier down there, just to be sure.
