I think there have been a few others that did the same "fatal flaw". If you remove the human element and it occurs, thats mfg design failure. Often a similar complaint is actually caused by the shooters grip moving the lever during recoil: could be design, ergonomics interface or user issue.

I was cleaning my 1911 I shot last weekend at the USPSA match. I noticed the rear sight was jacked up due to a broken pin. No wonder it was hard hitting the long shots.

The rear sight are for old farts like me. You on the other hand visualize your shots and use brain waves to direct the projectile to its intended targets. LOL

I went over to JJ's after work and he had a couple of pins the right size. He installed one and cut another on for a spare. Back in business. If you need a part JJ has four of five of them but you may need to help find them. Thank you JJ.

I’ve only been to JJ’s once but I think it’s safe to say if he doesn’t have it, you don’t need it!

and after watching him work, and explain things to another member, if for some reason, he does know how to do something, the odds are, you don't need to do it anyway...

and he will probably figure it out eventually

Went kind of through some of my ammo stash and found some boxes of ammo I no longer had firearms to use it in. Contacted a buddy of mine that had been wanting that type of ammo and told him he could have it at way less than retail price. Also had a box of other ammo and contacted another buddy and told him he could have it free of charge.
