Depending on the FFL, maybe the Maxim 9 can have some "conjugal visits" while in jail and put through some paces...

I've got 2 buddies that own maxims.... very well balanced, and much lighter than you would expect. Like a glock 17 with a surefire on it... but the trigger is absolute straight dog ass garbage.

Well a .357 mag loaded with 5gr of trail boss and a 125 plated bullet is subsonic and safe out of a 9mm can, Point of Impact shifted about 8" at 50 yards, but once zeroed it was fine out to 200 yards for steel. And nice and quiet.

I have the urge for one more can, but cannot get into the long wait. I could stand the tax stamp, it is the ridiculous time to wait I hate. You would think that once you get your first NFA tax stamp, future ones would only required a quick National Agency Check to ensure nothing derogatory has occurred before pushing the approval button!
    Peace Out
