Looking to buy a nice rifle in a caliber I currently don't have - 25-06, 270wsm, 300wsm, 257wby mag or some other interesting caliber useful in deer hunting.

No, will be using factory ammo. I was thinking bolt gun, but I'm open. All of my rifles are either 308 or 30-06, so just looking for something different. And like I always somehow seem to do, I have a scope(Swarovski z3) I'm looking for the rifle to put it on.

Get out of that "rut" . . . but NO 6.5Creedmoor's either.
A 280Rem would be good. So would a 35Whelen. 338Federal in a AR is worth a conversation. So is a 350Legend. Maybe a 450Bushmaster. Maybe a 7mm- 08 or a 260Rem.
You got quite a few choices. Just think of all the chamberings that your friends have . . . then count them out. ---- SAWMAN

.35 Whelen is awesome. I've been pondering a .350 Legend build. I have no need for it but it's kinda cool and this is America, so...
