Great hunt last night. Managed to get two hogs on the way to the place I wanted to call coyote.

After a short time calling this guy came in to the sound of DSG Cottontail. Shot him at about 150 yards.

I posted one like this last year but this one's coat is thicker and darker. I shot this one in the exact same spot as the other one, must be something in this specific area.

Domestic dog mix in the past? Hybrid? Don't know but he certainly is a coyote. He has some brown on the lower parts of his legs.

On the way out I came across some more hogs and got two more.

Was a good night, four hogs and one black coyote.

    Great night of hunting.
"Different" coyote. Young, healthy animal. Some people forget that coyotes come in All colors. I missed one during deer hunting about 4 years ago that was pure black. I saw him again a couple months later but could not get a shot at him.
My next thermal will be one of the Trijicons. Gotta sell a few more guns. --- SAWMAN
