Think it would be illegal to shoot them?

It's classified as an invasive species and is not protected. Pythons, lion and snakehead fish, nutria, wild boar are in the same class as the monkey. It's only a matter of the method being legal for your location. You just need to avoid body fluid/feces contact during and after the kill.

Kinda what I thought but I wasn’t sure with them being primates. I was a little concerned that they would be regarded as little hairy people. You never know what goes through some folks minds nowadays.

If they're a non-native and an intrusive species, I believe that's an open invitation to hunt them. Maybe they'll make it over here. Wonder if they're worth eating or just for taxidermy?

If you was driving down the street and looked over to see one sitting on someone's front porch swing . . . and you called the police to report it . . . what would you call it ??? --- SAWMAN

Well, chief inspector Clouseau called them ‘minkeys” so I reckon that would do.

I’d say mounting (not that kind of mounting Sawman) cause they carry herpes I don’t think you’d want to eat one.

A little low key racism always reflects well on the 2A community.

I suspect that the monkeys would give them damned bobcats a run for their money on eating up all the turkeys and quail. --- SAWMAN

ALL those monkeys carry Hep-B which is transferrable to humans. They are a Boi-Hazard you don't want to eat or handle without proper precautions.
