so what does this actually mean ? will it give us constitution carry ? would it allow use hi cap mags or assault weapons if they were banned ?
    I doubt it.

It's symbolic until some government agency(outside of escambia) decides to prosecute for possession of a banned item.

I wouldn't want to be the test case.

I agree with that. Don't want to be a felon but not giving up my guns either. Tough situation!

It's a move of solidarity with other counties who declare 2A Sanctuary. It's the same move as other states like Virginia. It sends a message to the spineless in the state capitol: you're wrong if you think we want gun-control.

It's a civic method of communicating with state representatives, in this case, from a county seat.

Hopefully those SOBs in Tallahassee wake up before they light a fire that can't be put out.

2A Sanctuary Law going to first Court Legal Review in Oregon. This one nullified State and Federal firearms laws. Its pretty strong against the Feds but weaker against its own State laws. This is Law (passed by Voters) not a "Resolution" as some jurisdictions have supported.

Now that a year and some change has passed has this changed how business is done in Escambia? I'm not plugged in but I'd love to know if the SO and PDs in Escambia are enforcing federal/state gun laws.
I recall seeing the wording refusing to use resources on UNCONSTITUTIONAL gun law but this can mean different things to different people.
