What was the the make of the scope & size of it you had on it, like 4X16X50 or what?

The rings will fit up to what size objective that will come with the rifle:hippie:?

Actually, I'm not interested trades as I downsized my inventory in 06 but I will listen to trade offers as somthing may peak my interest and I can go plus cash if needed. On my shopping list is a CZ Shadow 2, GSG/ATI MP40 (9mm), 1911 Longslide 6in 45APC, Ruger stainless Old Army 44BP, Sig MPX/MCX. Maybe a higher quality stainless 1911 or clean military one.

    Thanks for your interest.*

Leisurely bump. :couch2: I may forget about bumping this (again). If the ad isn't closed, the Pkg is still available. Thanks for looking.

My combo (gun, scope) was the "same" as this . . . only different. Mine was chambered in 30-378 and the scope was a 8.5-25x50.
Several points: The Accubrake just WORKS. My guns recoil impulse was like a .30-'06 shooting a stiff 165 or so. This gun would be even lighter.
The 28 inches of bbl will produce every bit of velocity that this chambering is capable of.
The action on these guns is one of the smoothest that I have ever expieranced.
Your choice of bullets, even above 150 or so,is endless.
This scope (Leupold) with it's target turrets and fine crosshair,is a perfect match for this gun.
Brass . . . The expense of the Weatherby brass is a downside from owning one of these guns. BUT . . . enough brass to last a lifetime comes with this sale. And unlike a AR,you recover every piece. Also, with this chambering, other companies make brass besides Weatherby.
Accuracy . . . My gun was extremely accurate. I have known others that owned, and still own,Weatherby MkV Accumarks. Their guns are all .500 to .750" guns. A big part of this is the excellent stock and it's mating with the action. These guns shoot the heavy (>180gr) bullets EXTREMELY well.
With any of the above info,I will default to the seller. --- SAWMAN

As usual, Sawman it well informed and experenced with this type platform. The barrel is 26 inches (as I hunted with it) with the removable muzzel break installed it's 28. A lot of rifles can put holes in paper at distance, Accumarks are about accuracy AND terminal ballistics at distance. Current MSRP (normally higher than retail) is $2300 but the muzzle break is a factory option +$. I do have the additional factory information package they mail to you after the sale.

My grown kids don't hunt anymore otherwise this gun would be in Idaho. I'll take the hit for bad parenting. Lol
