I have a pretty good supply of ammo but might have to take a look at it and buy some of what I think I'll need for the long term future. The way Florida is starting to act it might be time to look at other options for retirement when the time comes!

sooner or later, ammo will be taxed like cigarettes, give it time..... "You can still have it, BUT your going to pay dearly, in order to have it....

The bill was officially introduced via publication in the House Journal - that's 1st reading. Was referred to three committees but has not been put on the agenda for a hearing. Bill has to pass all committees, be placed on 2nd reading (publication in House Calendar), then 3rd reading (House Calendar on separate day). Not available for floor vote until 3rd reading.

Companion bill was filed in Senate (SB 460). Has to go through similar process. Only if both bill pass their respective houses are they available for hearing / vote on the floor of the other chamber. A bill must be voted on by both chambers to become law.

These bills are unlikely to move this legislative session but vigilance is always necessary.

This kind of thing is extremely confusing. I'll admit, I should/will educate myself on the legislative process.
