OK, I think I'm going to start a new hobby that was started by a co-worker of mine. One day he comes to me asking me where he can dispose of old ammo. Thinking that it's just old but usable, I said bring it to me and I'll dispose of it in one of my guns!
Well, 99% of it is OLD and actually rare in some cases. I have google most of it and and I think I found a new hobby to collect all kinds of ammo old to new!
So if anyone has any laying around that they don't want or don't have a clue what to do with, I'll gladly meet up etc...
He had some very old paper hull shotgun shells that go great with a turkey mount I have. SOm older 30-40 Krag rounds. A lot of very old USG rounds and blank training rounds made and used around the turn of the 19th century. Some of these rounds, I had never even heard of and were made for only a few years etc...
So got me thinking. What's the best way to get into ammo collecting. Picture of the paper shotgun shells on my turkey mount.
