Have a request for you shotgun hunters. My BIL passed last weekend and my sister will sell some guns. One is a 98% or better (conservative estimate) Browning Light Twelve A5 marked Miroku and made in Japan. From what I read, they are popular with waterfowlers as the barrel is safe for steel shot.

She has the 3 choke set of Invector chokes for it, but no clue on value.

After looking around I am not sure what to advise her. What do you guys think the value of this shotgun is?

Guess it is time to buy a reference book on used gun values so I can advise sister in Northern AL.

Mods, please feel free to close this thread as I cannot seem to do so.

Ray this is a 2013 book , but the internet is a much better gauge look at Gunbroker or such, some are selling around 700-800+ . My guess for here was going to be 600-700 as these guns don't seem to be very popular around here anymore??

What ridgerunner said is correct. Most waterfowlers nowdays turn their nose up at anything that isn't a 3 1/2 inch chamber and some kind of camo coating. Gun is worth in the $650 range.

    I love the A-5 but I’m 64 years old.
Seems like they are not near as popular as they used to be. The A-5 used to be THE shotgun.
All the young guys nowadays want a
    Benelli.
Seems like all the guys who revered the A-5 have gotten older and quit hunting.
    $600 - $700 would be a fair price.
