The "O" ring goes down over the knobs shaft and sits at the junction of the shaft and threads. ---- SAWMAN
ADDED: Do not overtighten the knob when screwing back in. If over tightened it will cut the "O" ring.

I use little o rings similar to that to dry fire my cz p07 so the hammer doesn’t slam the back of the firing pin so much, plus it’s quieter.

Got it. Thanks. I'll look around for some. The short threads make me nervous though wish it was longer/larger. Love the side charger. Spoiled now, especially the LH one.

Shot it with hornady ammo. Was able to put 3 in the small 2x2 squares on the shoot and see target @ 100 yards. Nikon scope and larue trigger. Super trigger. Also sighted in my nightvison rifle. Thanks.

Thanks, the side charger is my first full build.
    Love it.

It's a Photon XT by sightmark. Fixed 4.3 runs on 2 aa batts. Has 3 level ir built in but the evolve ir light I added works way better and makes the batteries last longer. Power cell recharables. Two gripes about the sight, 1 narrow field of view and the adjustment for the scope is very coarse. Well 3 gripes, the reticule moves around the screen to zero, I had to shim the scope / mount to keep it in the middle. ( cheap mount, not true) I'm thinking I need to spend the $$ and get a better mount. I looked at the ATN sight but this one is better with turn on and shoot vs turn on wait, fiddle and then have it glitch or freeze. Its black and white res. It has several choices for the crosshairs I use the T one. Red,green or white in color. Can hunt at night for $500.
