    Thanks for the update.

I will make sure my weather alert radio is working.

    I hope power stays on.

    Maybe good day to reload.

I dislike some parts of the public announcements like take shelter in your basement.

    Public Information Officer Brandi Bates
, Santa Rosa County Division of Emergency ManagementAgency
    Tornado watch until 4 p.m.

 A tornado watch has been issued for Santa Rosa County until 4 p.m.

A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes. Have a plan already in place for where you will go if a tornado warning is issued. If you live in a mobile home, consider staying with family or friends until this line of storms has passed.

⚠️Damaging wind gusts of 70+ mph will be also possible with this line of storms. Treat a severe thunderstorm warning the same as a tornado warning today.

What to do if a tornado warning is issued today:
    - If you can safely get to a sturdy building, then do so immediately.
    - Go to a safe room, basement, or storm cellar.
    - If you are in a building with no basement, then get to a small interior room on the lowest level.
    - Stay away from windows, doors, and outside walls.
    - Do not get under an overpass or bridge. You’re safer in a low, flat location.
    - Watch out for flying debris that can cause injury or death.
    - Use your arms to protect your head and neck. Wear a bike helmet if you have one. If not, use a cooking pot or mattress to cover you.

Sign up for Santa Rosa County specific alerts at www.alertsantarosa.com.

We suggest having multiple ways to receive weather warnings. Some good free apps for your phone include:
    - Red Cross Tornado
    - RedZone Weather
    - The Weather Channel

Looks like gusty wind will be from the south, am I thinking correctly?

Maybe Rebel can let us know what he is seeing

Just lost power. Bay minette. Good test for the house generator. Power dropped, gen came on.
I was an hour or so ago on a face book page for white english dogs taking to fellow from Bay Minette named Levi. He does a lot of dog hunting. Weather.com say that is where the storm is right now.

Passed over and on the good/better side of the red line now.
Not much for us here just off Hwy.29. Maybe 1.5 inches of rail. Small amount of thunder and lightning. Wind was 20-25 gusts . . . MAX.
Possibly worse further north. --- SAWMAN

The red bands on the map are go and the less intense yellow will soon be gone. Some thunder and the one dog that is bothered by it is at my feet waiting for it to pass.
