I'm looking really hard at the new Pro Cut slide for my Sig 320.... It's a factory cut from Sig Sauer and does not void the warranty. I don't feel that it really will provide any real tactical advantage for the shooter but it does look really cool... What are the rules & thoughts on something like this?

Being that it’s an OEM part from Sig it’s allowed in IDPA but it adds no real benefit unless your barrel is ported which is not allowed in IDPA. Some might like the weight reduction but it could also increase felt muzzle flip. Hope this helps.
