    Define "good load".
Stick with H110 or 296. Load 'em up HOT !!
The short bbl will hurt the velocity and accuracy.
I had a Blackhawk (4 5/8ths)chambered in 41Mag. It was minute of hog out to about 35-40yds. ---- SAWMAN

I shoot mine out my winchester 94 with a 16 in barrel. Really good grouping at 25 yards (damn near touching), then opened up to about a inch and a half at 100. I use W296 loaded at 21.5 gr

Years ago, I loaded 23.0 gr of H110 under the 300 gr XTPHP with CCI 350 primers in RP brass. The following velocities were obtained:
    5.5" - 1171
    7.5" - 1207
    20" - 1462
    24" - 1487
Use at your own risk. These were fired in Ruger Blackhawks, Marlin 1894s, and a Colt Anaconda. YMMV.
