I'd love to see one in person. I have read they're not hand fit, and I'm guessing the quality won't be up to par of the originals, but I wouldn't be apposed to picking one up for 1300ish in the future. They should sell a ton.
I’m with John....would love o see how folks that get them can shoot them and compare to the older version before I would even think about spending that amount of money. I’m hoping it’s built in house, unlike the Retro SP1 Colt AR-15 that was a mis-mash of other companies products finished in Colt gray and jacked up the price double over its closest competition. We’ll have to see.
Someone on youtube was reporting that they were contracted out to some other company to make for Colt. Also, they changed the internals, so it's got the newer style like the new King Cobra. As far as the hand fitting, not sure it's really a great thing with the machining capabilities we have now. But with that being said, I'll have to see some reviews, finger bang one myself before I go laying that much for one. But if it's like the new King Cobra, I think I'm going to have to get one. I think it'll drive down the older Pythons a bit, but not by a huge margin all at.
