    Quigley down under. It got me thinking. There's a scene where he hoists himself through a skylight using the rifle. Do you think an AR could do this? I dont.

    Do agree the AR may not hold up.. But even as strong as a sharps is. I do not think I would want to do it with my rifle... & you do not want me doing it with your rifle.. :)

    Yeah, I hear ya. I'm 230 and I'm pretty sure I would warp or break something trying. I can just see the thin wall buffer tube folding at the threads and peeling the back of the lower off.
