This sight is for quick target acquisition, not really for target shooting, correct?
    Even so, I’m tempted.

For those of us whom purchased this gem and submitted the rebate paperwork; a friend of mine and I each purchased one and had them shipped to his house. So he submitted the rebate paperwork for both items. Now 4 to 6 weeks later, he receives a letter saying the EOTech serial numbers he had submitted the rebate paperwork for had all ready been used. So instead of throwing the letter away and forgetting about it, he calls the rebate company. They tell him the letter was sent by mistake and he will get his rebate check for $50.00 in another 4 to 6 weeks. He says not so fast, there are 2 rebates and they say sorry again yes there are two rebates for a total of $100.00. We are smelling a rebate and switch scam.

I just received a $20 Winchester ammo Rebate that I had forgotten all about.
It had to be at least 4 months, maybe 6 months ago that I sent it in.
Haven’t received my Eotech Rebate yet.
