    The bottom line they say
Big Internet players also offer these kinds of services. “Google, PayPal and Amazon all offer secure payment processing services, which can be used in lieu of exposing actual card numbers,” Young added.

MASSIVE SEXTORTION ATTACK RUNNING WILD, SECURITY FIRM SAYS

The bottom line is if you have shopped with a regular credit card at a site that has been compromised you need to act.
But how do you know if a site has been compromised. Two weeks ago Bank of America warned me of suspicious purchases on my card. This one is only used for internet purchases. When possible I use pay pal, but many vendors will not take it. I avoid amazon since instead of pay pal they want you to sign up for their system. Ebay takes it.
IIRC midwayusa does not take paypal as is the case with some other significant vendors. Offhand I can not remember about brownells for sure on that.
We know that pensacola was recently cyberattacked.
