Well Known Nuisance
I've always wondered is there that much of a difference in a $500 AR vs a $2,500 AR ???
The PSA is a range toy. There’s not a LE department or military unit in the world that issues them. Not saying you need a scar either, as there are plenty of quality rifles in between. There’s a reason rifles like KAC, HK, LMT, DD, and evening BCM and Colt fetch a premium over the PSA $300 ARs.

If people will pay it, I guess many will ask for those amounts."For the record" . . . I believe that the LWRC,Danial Defense,Wilson Combat, and some of the other AR's that cost $2000+ are overpriced also. Same as the $2000+ 1911's. --- SAWMAN
The Scar can loose quite a bit more value if the owner files, saws, or spray paints it.
IMHO . . . nada for the "normal/average" shooter.
The quality is there obviously. If I had to bet my life everyday on a weapon I would pick the SCAR . . IF . . the parts were free and forthcoming.
THEN - - -> there is a "look at me while I am at the range" thing. Kinda like when your there bangin' away with your Hi Point and NcStar scope . . . only just the opposite.
I would never buy one. I can name another 10 or so weapons that I would spend my $2500 on.
But . . . ? . . . I have a $7000. optic (thermal) sittin' on one of my rifles. Soooooooooooo . . . --- SAWMAN
I can't count how many times I bought a budget item just to return it and spend the extra $$ for the better item, most times you get what you pay for. I always upgrade most of my weapons for better parts after I see what I like. If your going to war you don't buy a PSA for $499 and hope for the best. That being said I do own a PSA AR pistol I got for $499.:drum:
