I used common sense and came to the same conclusion, plus I have a 40 year old dock that shows zero raise in sea level. But we do not want facts to get in the way of a good public fleecing, SUCKERS give me your money or the climate monster will get you.

Sea levels are going up, but not exactly as people are predicting.

When the primary global warming "theory" that is formulated on cherry picked data can't stand up to close scrutiny, its good to have a backup theory that dovetails in. When water level increases don't happen: come up with "new science" to explain why! If they can sell GW, why not rising land mass where ice was, molton earth core to crust friction and every tide movement * (don't they go both ways?) Slows the earths rotation and the water level increase "will occur" where we're not looking. Oooooh k.

    * Moon/tides and their "slowing the earth's rotation" was known long ago. Sounds like a big deal until you know the "slow down" in terms of time means it lengthens a Day by 1.7 milliseconds PER CENTURY! Molton core to Crust friction: It was somebody else's Theory back in 2002. That calls for the assumption that "Core" is not rotating WITH the Crust but since Earth was a rotating blob before becoming distinguishable core, mantal and crust, that's obsurd. Unlike Moon/tides, there is no factual science on this. If there was, they would then need to redefine how much rotational slowing is from Core/Crust fiction and how much from Moon/tide: fight over that whopping 1.7 milliseconds per Century. Lol

If we take all he says at face value, there is a single truth that makes the rest moot: "We’re currently in an interglacial—a warm period between glacial cycles. If humans weren’t warming the climate, Earth might be poised to enter into another Ice Age in the future."

So man's impact, especially in the 20th Century has helped delay the oncoming Iceage. Drill baby, Drill!!!
