Hi all. Interested in competition shooting or know someone that is? Members and non members, come join Drew Coleman and Patrick Free on Saturday Nov. 16th at 9:30 am for a free introduction to shooting matches at Dothan Gun Club. In this live fire class, we will teach you how to safely compete in both Dothan's Speed Steel and USPSA (www.USPSA.org) matches. Course contents include:

Safety rules and how they apply to competition
Basic competition rules
Shooting actual stages

Drew and Patrick are both certified USPSA range officers and actively shoot and compete at the club. Can't make it this month? We intend to hold monthly classes as long as there are people interested. To sign up, please email Drew Coleman (drewgcoleman@gmail.com). Please give the names of anyone coming to take the class, and let us know what firearm you would like to use.

If you wish to take the class, please bring the following:
A firearm you are comfortable with shooting. It must either be 22 long rifle (rifle or pistol) or a pistol caliber (such as but not limited to: 9mm, .40 S&W, 45ACP). Pistol caliber rifles (PCC) with a stock are also welcome.
If using a center fire pistol, a holster is recommended.
ALL firearms must be brought to the range unloaded, in a case.
100-200 rounds of ammunition.
Appropriate eye and ear protection

Recommended items:
Water, sunscreen, hat, gloves (for teardown and put away).
