I have a 10 inch AR pistol upper in 300 blackout and I need to put together some ammo to test fire it. Cases are formed from lake city.

I found the quoted loading data from hodgdon's website. I have never done anything with the 300 blackout, but do have dies and components.
I have a bag of .30 150 grain bullets and H110 powder on hand.

Does 16 grains of H110 plus 150 grain bullets sound like a reasonable load to function a new upper.

Hodgdon 150 GI 30 cal bullets.
    H110 .308" 2.235"
    14.6 grains for 1,725fps 34,400 PSI

    17.2 1,971 52,800 PSI

Had some listed in the reloading area. I had the same questions. I used 16.6 of h110. Barks with authority, seems accurate.( as iam) No bulges or primer issues. I'll never go any higher though.

15.8 is the max rec per hornady book.
