After a 15 year field test trying to break or destroy it. I know it won't be featured in any tesorone fueled movie. Ontario made. The saw actually works, the blade is 1/4 inch. Has very good weight, like a cleaver. If you need a real outdoors tool this is it. The sheath is as tough as the knife is, no wimpy cheap nylon sock.

I picked one up for some yard work. Great tool for the price. Although I ordered it with the leather, it came with the cheap nylon. I don't think they make it in leather anymore. But, happy with the purchase.

I have a similar tool in my hunting pack only smaller. It put para cord on it to make a better grip surface. Has come in handy several times.

Wouldn't mind having one of those around either.

Looks like quite the tool, but as an Old Salt I find a few areas I'd like to have improved.
    A. Carbon Steel without any maintenance access to the tang?
Recipe for disaster when immersed in salt water regularly.
    B. There are more little critters to gut and skin than Big One's.
A sharks tooth or small clip point allows big heavy knives to perform delicate tasks.
    C. Leather is a great sheathing material, but it's hard to keep enough oil on it to stop carbon steel from rusting in a saltwater AO. Ballistic Nylon with a Kydek Liner is more practical.

Ontario offers much better Machetes but they require a paracord leash with an adjustable stop for operator safety. JMHO.

Best design overall in my mind is the tracker design attributed to Tom Brown. I bought a cheap Chineese one years ago, and ended up liking it so I bought a Damascus version made by a knife smith in Texas. Always wanted a good Damascus knife. Will have to drag it out for a shot as I cannot find a pic of it on here. Below are the cheap introduction tracker, and a CS Tanto in sheaths made by local member Jogan.

Yeah that’s the only thing about my cold Stella tango, the nylon sheath sucks and the knife is so sharp it cuts it lol
