    I’ve got several old Outdoor Life magazines from the 50s and/or 60s. I like looking at the ads.
    One that I remember is for a Browning Hi Power for $70 and they would send it right to your door.

    Thanks for posting this. The one I can't figure out is the MP44 for $49.95. Nowhere on the add does it say it is a DEWAT. Like to have that for sure. Another thing to keep in mind that back in 1958 people made a whole lot less money than we do now. These are steals for us now but I imagine a $30 Mauser back then was not pocket change.

    I can remember going into W.T. Grants in the ‘60s and seeing 55 gallon barrels of milsurp rifles for $12.
