    Have a Ruger American Stainless lefty in .223 Shot probably 50 times. Has Vortex Crossfire 3-9x50.

    I am not really wanting to go with a 223 and I a full size ruger american is going to have too long of a length of pull. I appreciate the offer though'

    Handiness won't matter. (Actually I think its great, I shoot left)May have to get shorter rings. Hornady makes reduced recoil 308 that still packs enough punch.(if that's even an issue) You can also buy other barrels for it caliber swap. It needs a home!
