A great truck gun. Great for woods walking also.
Mine was as accurate as "it should be",and ate ANY ammo.
Best of luck with the sale of this weapon sir. --- SAWMAN

Don't blame you one bit sir.
I have two Mini's . . . one chambered in 300BLK and the other in 6.8SPC. They are keepers.
Got a buddy with a X39 Mini. Still going strong after 3000rds. One of the first ones made.
These are great guns for what they do . . . and what they were designed to do. They are severely underrated. --- SAWMAN

For me there were two happy days of mini 14 ownership , the day I got it and the day I finally sold it. Since the World Wide Web created so many instant experts that say it’s not accurate , the resale of mini 14’s has been less than robust.

I love my minis. I have a mini 14 and a mini 30 and i’d Rather shoot either of them than my AR or my AK. Don’t blame you for changing your mind.

Like I mentioned I didn't even know they weren't made anymore. Mine was made in early 90's. It will spill out 20 rounds of 7.62x39 like water out of a bucket. Not sure how accurate it is but I sure wouldn't want to be within 100 yards in front of it when it was going boom that's for sure !!! LOL. I have old eyes and with the factory sites I can shoot 4 inch groups at 50 yards. Thanks good enough for me guys !!!!!

Like me sometimes . . . he just realized that the gun was worth more to him . . . than anybody else.
Same with me and my Mini's.
The Mini's are great guns for what they were designed to do. Too bad that the version chambered in 308Win never came about. --- SAWMAN

I don't know how this post came back up. I did decide not to let it go. At the time I was told they were not made anymore so I put it back in the safe. I do see where they are still made but from looking at them compared to my old one I will not let go. They are great guns for sure. Ruger has always been on the top of my list. Great customer service too!!!

My friend, you may as well buy the gun. I don't know how many Jeeps I've owned in my life but there were issues with all of them sooner or later. A lot I caused myself but it's part of Jeeping. I still love them!

I had a X39 Mini at one point. It ran fine and was as accurate as it was supposed to be.
Can't remember what happened to it. Probably traded it for something that I just "had to have".
That was back when nobody offered bullets designed for the chambering and loading for it was a PITA. ---SAWMAN
    P.S. I believe that we need a Mini thread . . . ?
