Hey, I had a quick question: are these true, head stamped "35 Whelen" brass or are they formed from 30-06/270/280 brass? Reason I am asking is I read that when 35 Whelen brass is formed from 30-06 brass the case will shorten and the necks can be too thin.

Don't know about your above question and will surely default to Jester . . HOWEVER . . I have two friends that have been shooting 35 Whelen since it was a wildcat. They made all their brass from 30-06. They have had no problems at all and they both shoot some extremely hot loads.

yes, they are New no bag R-P cases with a .35 Whelen head stamp...I could size you some from .30-06 if you would rather have those...I might be able to find a set of dies somewhere :noidea:

I will take them, no worries, just wanted to check after reading what I had read, would rather have the real thing since I'm just starting out with the 35 Whelen. I will get the payment to you tomorrow via PayPal!
