    I can't imagine having a family member naive enough to think banging on the back door and jumping out of a bush to surprise me would be a good idea.

    Did the son-in-law hope to give the old guy a heart attack?
    Did he actually think a "surprise attack" at 2330L was an appropriate greeting?

    What a tragic event. Now the dad has every future birthday as a reminder of this tragedy and his daughter's grief.

    The dude is dead, but what a f-ing stupid act...

    unreal..who would think that is a good idea? banging a door @ 2330 and jumping out to scare someone while growling is plumb dumb...
