Than the expensive ones? Seems like I use them more than the fancy wizbang ones. Examples:

    Kayaking/jeeping general fooling around I
    In the woods.

Dogs raising hell / rats under shed etc.

I have multiple better semi-auto, bolt firearms but it seems I use the "cheap" ones the most.

I really depends on what I'm doing but to me all firearms are tools and get treated as such. I don't abuse then but they get used a lot.

I don't know. I kinda shoot them all but my fav and the ones I want to shoot the most are probably some of the most expensive.

    The HK line up...

I like them quiet also. I do this with the seven suppressors I own. Oh wait eight if you count the one that goes with the HK MP5 SD

Not exactly the most expensive but not the cheapest either. My Sig p238 gets the absolute most use, I carry it therefore I have it with me at all times, critter in the chicken coop, snake along the banks, just general plinking, etc. I’m practiced with it and with little kids in the house I can’t have extra guns out just laying around. So it’s also my bump in the night grab it and get the safe open gun.

RR, the above picture you posted thinking it was Sawman, after seeing the amount of weaponry posted in post #6 above, I'm now convinced it is really a pic of our beloved John B!!!!!!!!!

This reminds me. Don't forget to get extra insurance coverage. No really. My wife being the smart cookie she is bumped ours to cover extra guns and extra jewlery. Look into it.

One of the cheapest guns I own is a Makarov from '86 or '87. Cost me about $250 four years ago. I love the little fucker and have put about 3,000 (give or take a few hundred) rounds through the barrel since I got it. It is one of my favorite firearms to take out.

I tend to use and carry the cheaper ones when I think damage or theft of the firearm might occur.

Currently what i am shooting the most at the local 900 bullseye PRPC matches is a smith and wesson model 41 and an old browning that would likely be about $600 or more if made today. These are not a cheap pistols, but also not the most expensive. Around my place I am carrying another smith 9 that only cost me 200 bucks due to the safety of it 10 lb trigger and I sweat all over it. I just washed the bandolier holster I use because it was smelling rather strongly. I noticed a little rust on the recoil spring the other day and the slide release is also rusted a bit. But it has also gone bang when I pull the trigger.
Point of it is that the cheaper guns are more likely to be carried into conditions where hard usage and loss are likely. On the target range one can take their range pet and not be too concerned. In a canoe I would be more careful as to what was going on board.

    I love inexpensive guns! :)
Nothing more fun than taking a beater and bringing it back to life!!
Like buying this pistol, rusty & pitted, and after some elbow grease
& some CeraKote it looks good :)
(pitting was way too bad to leave the slide unrefinished)

Altho, right now, I'm getting more use out of my new Tanfoglio
Witness 10mm than any of the others...perfect for Bowling Pin matches!!
