Used the kx3, truglo 2x red dot, 10.5 inch barrel. Subs cycled without the kx3. Subs ejected at about 5 oclock. Supers at 3 oclock. No cycling issues, tried several mags. Amend 2, heximag, pmag 10 shot, usgi 20 rd. All fed and locked back. About 20 shots to dial in, it's almost dead on.

I'm pleased with the accuracy shooting the subs and supers. Shooting at 50 yards. Using garbage can for rest and a 2x red dot. Pic of sub group. 220gr rem. 5 shots.(maybe 6?)idk.

Poly trigger is pretty good, slight take up,stop then boom.

Of course keymod mount fell off about half way thru.

Supers have a much firmer kick. Enough to slide the blade/clamped brace. I use 3 #6 beaker stoppers to stop this. Supers shot about 6 inches higher than subs.Super group 125gr sig hunting. 7 shots, damm flyers.!

Gonna have to find a good compact scope 4x suggestions welcome. I did not have any problems with the 1:8 twist. I can just about bet that some of you could have shot even tighter groups. I'll pull the rifle apart tonight and inspect. Just for fun killed a pesky Sprite can. This rifle is good to go for deer.

Pix of "range" if you look closer you can see the can just to the right of the target. On the tree limb.

Opened the action and took a quick look inside, not filled with aluminum/poly bits, no damage to poly hammer or trigger group.(I was worried about that) no unusual rub marks on bolt. Some dings to outside edge of buffer cap. Ill do a detailed clean/inspect tomm. No scrapes, chips on mags

Sweet setup, I picked up one of these used in a 16" carbine in FDE Cerakote at a Pawn shop for $300.00. Scoped it and had it zeroed in with 5 shots at 100 yrds. 1" group. No issues at all the grand kids will definitely use it this deer season.

Took it all apart and cleaned. No scrapes or strange wear. Did notice the buffer is a little chewed up. 20190927_120405.jpg

Removed the tube and found this,
    20190927_131012.jpg

Now I'm wondering if it's made this way for some reason I don't know. Looks nothing like my other ar tubes. Plus the plunger appears to be stuck in almost the down position. Used a round file to clean up the hole and it appears to be working now. Strange. If you have one of these AR's crack the action and look please. Thanks.

Buffer before shooting. I may have fooled with it before I had a chance to shoot it.

Your buffer retainer hole is drilled to far back in the receiver. You have a few options.

1: Have the receiver company warranty the receiver and send a new one.
2: Turn the outer edge of your buffer on a lathe so it no longer contacts your retainer pin when the upper receiver and bolt are in position.
3: Buy an offset buffer retaining pin.

    4. Take out the buffer retainer and spring and install a JP Silent Captured Recoil Spring and Buffer. ( This one will cost ya.)
I have several. They are great. --- SAWMAN
