Well Known Nuisance
Used the kx3, truglo 2x red dot, 10.5 inch barrel. Subs cycled without the kx3. Subs ejected at about 5 oclock. Supers at 3 oclock. No cycling issues, tried several mags. Amend 2, heximag, pmag 10 shot, usgi 20 rd. All fed and locked back. About 20 shots to dial in, it's almost dead on.
I'm pleased with the accuracy shooting the subs and supers. Shooting at 50 yards. Using garbage can for rest and a 2x red dot. Pic of sub group. 220gr rem. 5 shots.(maybe 6?)idk.
Poly trigger is pretty good, slight take up,stop then boom.
Of course keymod mount fell off about half way thru.
Supers have a much firmer kick. Enough to slide the blade/clamped brace. I use 3 #6 beaker stoppers to stop this. Supers shot about 6 inches higher than subs.Super group 125gr sig hunting. 7 shots, damm flyers.!
Gonna have to find a good compact scope 4x suggestions welcome. I did not have any problems with the 1:8 twist. I can just about bet that some of you could have shot even tighter groups. I'll pull the rifle apart tonight and inspect. Just for fun killed a pesky Sprite can. This rifle is good to go for deer.
Pix of "range" if you look closer you can see the can just to the right of the target. On the tree limb.
Opened the action and took a quick look inside, not filled with aluminum/poly bits, no damage to poly hammer or trigger group.(I was worried about that) no unusual rub marks on bolt. Some dings to outside edge of buffer cap. Ill do a detailed clean/inspect tomm. No scrapes, chips on mags
