After a long time of buying, it's time to do some house cleaning.
My question is, am I required by any law to do any transfer / paperwork/ect. when selling a rifle to an individual; ie F2F ??

Nope. Not for handguns either. The buyer needs to be eligible (not a felon, domestic abuser, under-21 now in FL, etc). As long as you don't have reason to believe the buyer is not eligible, you're fine. You are not required to do anything specific to verify everything. So, use your best judgment.

The more pertinent question for your situation might be "how many sales in a given amount of time is Too Many without an FFL?" Face-to-face at a gun show, if it looks like you're selling so much that you should've rented a table, the nearest BATFE agent might ask you a few questions. One or two rifles should be fine.
