I've actually traded a surfboard for a gun! It was in CA so priorities and values are different for the natives, similar to beads and trinkets for Manhattan. Lol. GLWS

Cool! My problem is I have too many of both! And, my families getting too big, so it's time to downsize! Hope someone gets these. They are nice boards!

I had one in Maine. On those long downhills, with deep snow, they were much faster than a toboggan. I cut the skeg off to about 3 inches to keep the board going semi streight.
After going between two chair lift poles at a ski resort at about Mach II I finally retired it to giving kids rides, towed by a rope, behind my Polaris 900 RMK.
Best of luck with the sale of these boards sir. --- SAWMAN
ADDED: They are tons of fun on wet grass, towed by an ATV also.

I surfed a lot in the ‘70s but too old now.
My board was (is) an Islander, made right here in Pensacola.
I was showing some out-of-town friends around last week and they wanted to go in Ron John’s on the boardwalk.
Of course, it’s more of a T shirt shop than a surf shop but the few boards they had were made in China.
    CHINA! I couldn’t believe it.

Check out all the stuff in Walmart or any store for that matter, 99% of it is made in China. Hard to compete against $3.00 per hour wages.

Yeh, I know that but SURFBOARDS?
That’s sacrilege. Most surfboards used to be shaped by hand and made in small shops. There were some big national brands that were more mass produced but a good deal of them were made in local shops like Hutson’s, here in Pensacola.
