Between the angry girl songs and the country rap, I just walked away and quit listening........

I pick and choose but real country is comming back around. Listen to anything luke combs. You won't be disappointed. 5 number ones off his debut album and a 6th about to hit the top off his second. He's in-between Toby Keith and Garth.

Damn, I also found out Jimmy Buffet was a big demo too, shocked me because he is a southern boy from the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. Won't be spending any money in his places again.

I find it interesting we pay some people to entertain us, but for some reason we think the "entertainers" are smarter and know whats best for the rest of us that pay them to entertain us....

Realtor, we don't really think they're smarter than we are. They volunteer all this info because they think they're smarter than we are. If you research what most of them did before they were stars you'll find there's not a brain surgeon among the whole bunch.

I don't really care for country music so the only reason I know any of them is because of them being in the news or on a TV program.

John Prine isn't really a country guy. More like Americana. I've been a fan since the early 70's.

Part of a poem/song i wrote about how bad some modern country is "I kinda got the feeling it was time to move along when someone said Billy Ray sings cowboy songs"

    God bless Chris Ledoux.

    Chris Ledoux....now there's a name I haven't heard in a while! Well played!

my all time favorite. His sang about rodeo, how it beat you up and is a rough life. Now most people hear that and know to stay away. When i was 21 years old i heard "rusty spurs" and said "Oh man i need to try that" I spent the best 2 years of my life on my college rodeo team.

I haven't paid to see a concert in a long time, they out priced me a long time ago. I only listen to free music I can get off the over the radio or online radio, they're not getting any of my money!
