Maybe the potential owner is in jail right now and already used his dime! Lol
When I have a gun coming or going: I track it like a daughters Prom Night!

If this firearm is actually a used Hi-Point, Lorcin, Davis or Jennings: please lie and make it special! Lol

Just trying to do right. Still haven't heard anything. It's a decent gun but nothing fancy. I'm not out any money but someone paid for it. Will keep you guys posted.

Why not just contact whoever sent it and ask them?

Did that. It took me four days to get a name from the shipper. The only person I know with that name said it wasn't his. Also funny because I transferred 2 guns to that gentleman the same day this one showed up.

Had this happen to a friend of mine who is an FFL.
He called the ATF and turned it over to them.
Doesn’t the paperwork show the buyer’s name, address and phone number?

If I had that info, we wouldn't be here.

Usually there's paperwork with the guns but not always. I've had thousands of guns come through. There's always the occasional missing FFL or contact info. Usually when I contact the shipper I can get it sorted out. Not in this case

have ya tried running the ser#?....perhaps something else is amiss with it..

    rich

No. Unless the shipping FFL is in on it, there's not much to get away with shipping a stolen gun through two FFLs. I don't think there's anything insidious with this. I've had an SBR sit for a year before the buyer tried to get the paperwork going..... he forgot about it. Maybe the buyer does shift work. It's only been a couple weeks.

I received a gun from River City Pawn and Jewelry. I don't know who it's for. They said it was purchased from a gunbroker listing but it wasn't bid on. It was bought over the phone after the auction ended. It took them a few days to get me a name and the only person I can think of with that name says it's not his. I've checked emails/texts/pms and I can't find any reference to that dealer or that type of firearm. PM/text or call if it's yours and I'll get you taken care of.

I promise that it's not me, Nate! However, I did send you an email about transferring a Remington 7600 7mm-08, I sent the email today as a matter of fact. Thanks in advance!
