If you can wait, they pop up on this forum every now and then for $300-$325 or so. And that is with no tax, transfer,or call in fee's.
BTW . . . they are great little guns. Have owned several of them. Shouldn't have sold at last one. --- SAWMAN
Yeah, I'm not in a giant hurry, appreciate the advice. I really don't want to pay those fees.
This gun is for my wife by the way, but I have heard that they are fantastic. One of her buddies has one as a purse carry and she likes it a lot. Trigger pull is kind of heavy for a smaller woman but I've heard you can get reduced pull trigger springs for these.
EDIT, I just noticed that Buds has them for 320 after our military discount but that would still include tax and FFL.
I bought and installed a trigger kit which consists of two springs. I believe that it cost $13. (check Brownell's). Easy to install and makes alot of difference.
I would also reccomend that you consider buying a gun that is used and in good condition. There is not much that can go wrong with these guns and it could/should save you some money. ---- SAWMAN
If I can't find a private party used one I'll just go to Eglin AFB and buy one there. No FFL or tax, but they are $355 and we have to drive there from south Pensacola.
Thanks Bay Ranger, but buying from them means 20 shipping, 40 FFL fee, 10% Escambia County tax which turns a 299 gun into a 388 dollar gun. Buying online is just not worth it any more IMHO.
I might be able to use that ad to get the Eglin AFB gun counter to price match though as this is their policy. No tax and no FFL fee there, but again, I'll have to drive an hour and a half each way.
Well for starters shipping is 8$. Second is tax would be* 22.42, and that’s if they charge tax online. I don’t know if grab a gun does or not, but many websites don’t. I’m pretty sure they don’t because I just added one to cart and went to checkout and it said grand total is 307.98$.
