Some nice photos of AR-15 builds.

Despite its cosmetic issues, the Brownells BRN-601 is on my "to get" list (don't wanna shoot the SP1).

A Model 601 from the site (the handguards, stock, and pistol grip are original).

There are a lot of nice clones on that site. I have a few of my own.

These are just up to the M16A2. Here are the more modern clones.

My next project is a M4A1 SOPMOD Block II clone.

In regard to the BRN-601, Brownells has changed the green on their furniture to more of an OD Green. Much better than the mint-looking green they have had. It would not take too much to add some more correct pieces to the BRN-601. A guy I know does dimpling on the pins, magazine release, and safety selector and reparks them. He also converts A2 port doors to 601 type port doors, and sells reproduction 601 type bolt catches, 601 type magazine releases, and early bend gas tubes.
